Shri Katta Subramanya Naidu, Honourable Minister Major & Medium Industries, Govt. of Karnata gave away awards to the exhibitors for best display and enthusiasm during the BangaloreIT show.

Shri Naidu and Mr. Sudhendra Kulkarni addressed the attendees after the award. Mr. Sudhendra from the PMO office, remembered the first BangaloreIT.in event nine years back, when Mr. Vajpayee had inaugurated the event and commented that May Bangalore Bloom and show a way to other cities so that many more bangalores bloom in India. It has happened and now we are witnessing the rise of Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata even smaller cities like Indore, Bhubhaneshwar etc. blooming and becoming big IT destinations.

Mr. Naidu mentioned the various infrastructure development plans in the state, mentioned Bangalore alone is now exporting software worth Rs. 40,000 crores, mentioned various policies to spread the IT growth in various other cities of Karnataka, mentioned the various speedier process they have introduced for IT and other industry setup. He also congratulated Mr. B.V.Naidu, Director, Bangalore and Hyderabad, STPI for their role as facilitators in the growth of IT in India, commendable for a PSU.

Subsequently the attendees networked over dinner with some lively music and a few enthusiastic dancers from the attendees enjoying themselves.
