New Interesting Features in Google Book

Think about how you use a book. You want to read it, sure--but there are a host of other ways for you to interact with the words between the covers. You might want to flip through the pages to find an image. You might want to open right up to the table of contents so you can find your favorite chapter. And you might want to pass it along to a friend so they can have a look at it, too.
Google books attemps to offer several interactive and innovative features to reader.
Rewarding Angel Investors

Freeman Murray has this interesting blog post on VentureWoods looking at alternate ways for angels to profit from their investment. It rightly assumes that Angels rarely make a decent exit, and the money can be perpetually locked. So what could be the way out ? How long should an angel investor wait for returns ? Should he start withdrawing from the revenues ?
It is a really good post, and certainly clear answers to this will raise the confidence of Angels to fund startups.

Michael Arrington of Techcrunch has this nice analysis on how Facebook is trying to defend its turf as well keep pace with the ever rising star Twitter.
Just as Friendster and MySpace tried to buy Facebook in the early days (and nearly did), Facebook is now trying to take Twitter out.
Astrolife.com Bought From People Group By Business...

Read this on Medianama, about the takeover of Astrolife.com by Raj Rao from the Poeple Group ( Shaadi.com ).
I guess it was not a big enough opportunity for People Group, but it is a good move by Raj as the project does seem to have a lot of potential, considering the amount of faith people globally have on the science of astrology.
All the best to Raj Rao.
