ITIL, the latest and the hottest in certification !!!

It has caught the fancy of almost everyone in IT :)

But what is it and why do you need to get into ITIL is a doubt that haunts alomst everyone....

Well, i tought with my time in implementing ITIL and learning on the job, a little clarity would be welcome by all IT'ers :)

1. Networking
2. Programming
3. Designing and Content
4. Management

Let me take on the 1st ---- Networking.

People with relevant knowledge in the networking domain, consider networking certifications in CCNA, MSCE, RHCE and the rest i'll not mention.

However, what people do not understand is that just doing a certification will probably help them get a footing in the door way of networking.

In my years in IT, watching green monitors while I grew up manufacturing PCs and learning COBOL to now when this generation talks about JAVA and JOOMLA, IT has come a long way --- or has IT !!!!

I see a lot of frustration in today's youth which has lead to utter confusion and chaos while choosing careers in IT. A lot of people in this forum will agree with me and realise that they themselves in some point of their careers felt the same...
