The much awaited N86 8MP has finally arrived in India after what is undoubtedly a much delayed launch. Close on the heels of the flagship N-Series device the N97, the N86 launch has, in effect, made clear Nokia's intentions on how it wishes to straddle the high-end segment with its combination of a touchscreen and a camera-phone.

Samsung has launched the world’s first mobile phone which will run on batteries powered by Solar Energy. It was launched here in India by the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah.

Sufficient demand, strong fundamentals and a favorable environment support a positive outlook for Indian IT-BPO exports as well as the domestic market, going forward. The Indian IT-BPO industry is on track to reach USD 60 billion in exports and USD 73-75 billion in overall software and services revenue, by 2010. At the aspired levels of growth, the sector would, by 2010, employ around 2.5-3 million professionals, directly, account for direct investment of about USD 10-15 billion, and contribute 7-8 per cent of the national GDP.

The new rallying cry of Web 3.0 is that anyone can innovate, anywhere. Code is written, collaborated on, debugged, tested, deployed, and run in the cloud. When innovation is untethered from the time and capital constraints of infrastructure, it can truly flourish.

On first look, these “zoozoos” in Vodafone TV ads for IPL may resemble animated cartoon characters with an alien look or simply a stupid egg-head character with disproportional white bodies and black dots for eyes and mouth.
These Zoozoo characters, in case you haven’t seen them yet, have been created by O&M for Vodafone to convey different value added services offered by the mobile phone company including phone Backup, cricket alerts, etc.

With billions of sites vying for the users’ attention, things work a little differently on the web. In a world where there are over 142,000 articles on basic care of hermit crabs, what can you write that hasn’t already been said?
So the key to writing for the web is to find something that hasn’t been already said or to say it so differently that a reader is entertained anyway. The three things that I have learnt:
