I'm a batch 2004 chemical engg(Vinamra Pandiya).I worked for two years in Infosys and got fed up with my mundane job out there and was in lookout for some business opportunity and after much thought and planning I jumped into a completely new area of food business in pune and I opened India's first fully professional tiffin service by the name of momskitchen tow months back providing end to end fooding solutions right from food preparation to food delivery along with my childhood friend and a civil Engg from NIT Allahabad(he worked for cognizant for 1.5 yrs).

SITM organised their Telecom seminar by the name of Communique which was held at Symbiosis Vishwabhawan on 7'th and 8'th of Oct.
The theme of the event was 'Enhancing Vision for growth across the telecom panorama'.
Event's Chief Guest was TRAI Chief Mr. Nripendra Misra who dwelt on the major concerns staring the Indian Telecom industry main being the Rural-urban divide,Consumer Issue,Interconnection issue and the highly debated spectrum issue.He also lauded the efforts of the SITM students for doing excellent research on predicting the telecom landscape for the year.

Second day started with audience pouring in at the venue of the Singhad Technical University at its picturesque Wadgaon campus expecting for some more gallons of unadulterated gyaan and guidance and surely they weren't disspointed.
First speaker of the day was Mr.Manish Dhingra(another co-founder of Tekriti Software) who elaborated on Business Plan and strategy and gave a solid knowledge of how successful B-plans are made.

If the pre-lunch session was fantabulous,post lunch gyaan was even more exciting.
Audience was treated to some straight-from-the-heart talk by a been-there done-that guy by the name of Anand Chatpar.He gave us information on the idea of bootstrapping a company.This celebrated serial entrepreneur from the US shared his fairy-tale like journey with the audience which was enchanting,intriguing and simply spell-binding.His was a knock-out performance which left audience gasping for more.To shed more light on this 25 something man: he has been named by BusinessWeek as one of the “Best Entrepreneurs Under 25″ in October 2005,and has been featured by CNBC among their “Young Turks” a show featuring upcoming young leaders.

We had a fantastic first day,packed with some great talks by the young studs who have proven themselves in the global market,some words of wisdom from the professionals and industry experts,some pep talk by the budding entrepreneurs and a sumptuous lunch. What more one could ask for?
The day started with the keynote session delivered by Dr Sunil Sherlekar:head of embedded systems at TCS who focussed on the opportunities and challenges faced by the technopreneurs , difference between a manager and a teacher,Technology and its various components and linking them with strategy, Patenting and its pros and cons and finally Learning Management as a theory and comparing with natural sciences and finally Motivation and desire.
