Brosers and logins
My first blog entry is not so much a contribution as a question. This is my third attempt at a log-in, the first two having failed. The only difference in my behaviour is that this one is using Microsoft Internet Explorer while the two failed attempts were from Mozilla Firefox. Was my choice of browser the reason for the failures?
maybe if you let us know the error messages we could help resolve the problem. i am using firefox myself and never had this problem. the only places where explorer works better is when a tighter integration is needed. that's rare. even the microsoft devel tools work fine with firefox.
Thanks, Shuklan, for your reply. There is no error message; the response to the login click is to clear the name and password fields,leaving the page inviting a new attempt. Our Firefoxes may be different: I am using version 1.0.6
