PMI, USA have published world wide recognized standard 'Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)' which is updated every 4-years. PMI have very recently announced another standard; 'Organizations Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3)' to enable organizations to measure their maturity in managing projects and propagating concept of Projectizing activities of all the functions.
