Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) organized the XI National Telecom Seminar ‘Communiqué - 07’ at Symbiosis Vishwabhavan, Pune on 22nd & 23rd September 2007 on the theme- “Service Oriented Growth- the Roadmap of Revenue”. Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Umang Das, MD, Spice Communications Pvt. Ltd. The Guests of Honor for the event was Mr. .Kiran Anandampillai, Director Engineering, Onmobile Global Pvt. Ltd.

Prévision- SITM Annual Telecom Forecast is in its 4 th year, initiated in the year 2003, with the purpose of providing the industry a neutral and insightful single point of view regarding the emerging trends in the telecom sector for the forthcoming year, after accumulating inputs from detailed research into contemporary telecom technologies, telecom business and other determinants of change.
Prévision is a culmination of the collective endeavor of SITM students with 1500 man hours of efforts put in by them. The student forecast team is guided by the SITM faculty and some of our esteemed alumni.
It is the only effort of its kind in the telecom domain at this level, which provides comprehensive coverage over various domains in the telecom sphere.

SITM organised their Telecom seminar by the name of Communique which was held at Symbiosis Vishwabhawan on 7'th and 8'th of Oct.
The theme of the event was 'Enhancing Vision for growth across the telecom panorama'.
Event's Chief Guest was TRAI Chief Mr. Nripendra Misra who dwelt on the major concerns staring the Indian Telecom industry main being the Rural-urban divide,Consumer Issue,Interconnection issue and the highly debated spectrum issue.He also lauded the efforts of the SITM students for doing excellent research on predicting the telecom landscape for the year.
