Second National Seminar on Business Ethics
MUMBAI
19th April, 2008
SIESCOMS takes great pleasure in announcing its "Second National Seminar on Business Ethics. " The event is scheduled on 19th April, 2008 (Saturday) at Hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra. The detailed schedule and the registration form are enclosed.SIESCOMS had organized the first national seminar during August, 2006. Since then lots of changes have taken place in various aspects of business management including processes, regulations, cultural aspects, technological developments, among others.
However, the basic philosophy remains the same in as much as the companies are getting increasingly focused on business ethics not only as a subject of research and strategy but also as a tool of practice. The other major development has been convergence and congruence in the approaches and philosophy towards practicing business ethics despite cultural differences. Theory of ethical relativism is increasingly under attack. Slowly but steadily ethics is becoming a global revolution.
This is the background in which the Second National Seminar is seriously contemplating to debate and discuss some of these issues in the day-long seminar.
We are sure we will have the privilege to have your presence during the seminar. We also request you to kindly nominate 3-4 senior / middle management personnel from various functional areas apart from HR/ ethics department. We are sure they will largely benefit from the discussion.
