First day at the Technopreneurship Conference.Snapshots!!

Dear Budding n aspiring Entrepreneurs

We had a fantastic first day,packed with some great talks by the young studs who have proven themselves in the global market,some words of wisdom from the professionals and industry experts,some pep talk by the budding entrepreneurs and a sumptuous lunch. What more one could ask for?
The day started with the keynote session delivered by Dr Sunil Sherlekar:head of embedded systems at TCS who focussed on the opportunities and challenges faced by the technopreneurs , difference between a manager and a teacher,Technology and its various components and linking them with strategy, Patenting and its pros and cons and finally Learning Management as a theory and comparing with natural sciences and finally Motivation and desire.
This was followed by a small interaction with Dr Aditya Misra from TCS(Dir. of innovations) who focussed on the qualities of an entrepreneur.
Next in line was Dr. Hemant Joshi from Symphony Services who focussed solely on the software product development in India and its life-cycle which was very informative and enlightening. He also touched upon innovation in a structured manner and ways to achieve it in every company.
Then came Mr. Faizal Farooqui(CEO of Mouthshut.com) who was the first one to speak without a formal presentation and was more of a interactive session,he urged everybody in the audi to go for the idea one is dreaming about,he also told about how mouthshut was incorporated and his talk took the top applause from the audience,it was so damn inspiring.
Then there was a talk on marketing and branding by Suhasini Kirloskar (the Indian head of Ad Astra) and she told about the importance of marketing and strategy and advertising in making a product or service survive in the market.She touched upon thought leaadership and leverage technology for marketing.
Folks...its time for lunch and we were treated to some delicious lunch by the Singhad folks.
