Forrester Research on Indian Offshoring
While doing some research for some thoughts I am having on long-term data archives, I found this:

Its second article may be of interest. I don't understand the area well enough to comment.
....which emphasises the need for specialisation. It's no longer enough for Indian outsourcing companies to be low-cost providers or skilled people. There now needs to be a move to adding more value, by focusing on specific application areas.
