Mostly Home PC do not have network card, so if you want to transfer file between your laptop and home PC "USB to USB Networking Cable" is very good option.
I was in Frisco whole of May 2006 and passing from the great Apple store near Union square almost daily, they had a session callled 'I can help you switch' a free workshop in small auditorium inside the store on level one, I decided to attend one of the eve sessions...
this changed everything for me I switched to MAC and MacBook the very next day bought my First MacBook Intel Dual core with 2 GB DDR2 SD ram, I actually bought this one as it can also run windows XP and MAC OS X Tiger....
After using for hardly 2 days I gave up the idea of installing Windows XP Pro and since then using Mac, it opens a 300 page PDF file in 8 seconds, 500 + page Word documents in 8-9 seonds, never hangs, Mac''s do not get infected by 99.99 % virus as they are deisnged for Windows, never freezes, if I work on 8 broswers and 5 applications the speed is still the same!
I strongly recommend if you are looking for a computer / notebook which matches or overtakes your brain speed, you must try the new Mac Book for atleast for few hours!
