Happy Dussera : Our First Anniversary

Wishing all our members and readers a very happy Dussera.

We had launched ITVidya.com last year on 12th October' 2005, on the auspicious day of Dussera and are pleased to celebrate our first anniversary today. ITVidya.com started as a part time initiative, but over the months, ITViday.com project has totally absorbed me and it has now become a full time occupation.

We now have a strength of 1700+ members, half of which were added in the last 3 months. We always aimed for a diverse talent and membership and we have managed to achieve that as our membership includes entrepreneurs and technopreneurs, programmers and designers, marketeers and content writers, analysts and testing professionals, students and academicians, and also mentors, angel investors and venture capitalists.

I also had a dream to organize a event for budding entrepreneurs and help them move on to the fast track of starting their own initiatives. The dream was accomplished only a few days back with a 2 day conference with some of the best speakers from the industry, combining youth and experience, they enthralled the audience, educated and motiavated them. We are very pleased with the outcoem with almost all participants giving us a very good or excellent rating for the event. Inspired, we aim to organize many such events in future and further our mission to empower IT Professionals and Entrepreneurs.

Knowledge, Networking and Opportunities is at the core of activities at ITVidya, and we are pleased with the progress and will continue to strive to make it possible for all our members to achieve the benefit of creating wealth from their knowledge in the increaingly IT dominated world.
