helloWorld-Digital Life Made Simple

Most of you reading this will not have heard of VMdirect or of helloWorld.
That's OK. But you soon will.
This Las Vegas based company is planning on "Unifying and Simplifying" our digital life.
Well I think that is a tall order..........in fact I'd say too tall.

On May 6th, 2006, they gather 1316 of their associates from all over the world to Caesar’s Place in Las Vegas to unveil the plans to "Conquer" the world.
The principles of the company have great pedigree (Google them if you must-: (Amy Black, Craig Ellins and Richard Kall). Individually, they have been successful, this is their first joint project.
So, what are they trying to do? Answer: Democratize streaming media
How? By creating software and hardware that would have no boundaries-From Hollywood to Your PC or Mac, or cell phone or PDA and of course your TV.
The idea is by no means unique, but few companies have tackled the entire spectrum of our digital media.
Over the next few weeks, I will present further details. A good starting point will be a review of their current offerings.
