AJAX Integration with Desktop applications

Today ...the first day in ITVidya blogging.
My main interest area is Web Application development and Web2.0 /AJAX developments.

Today I found out more interesting things that I would like to share with you.
I found one AJAX application which we can installed as plugin which runs as small web server in winamp which gives us access to winamp using web browser
these are the things that site tells

It allows you to access Winamp over the network using a web browser and control it or stream music to or from it. Using AjaxAMP you can:

* Listen to your music from anywhere using a web browser
* Control Winamp from anywhere using a web browser
* Cause your music to play on a remote computer
* Use one computer to stream music from a 2nd computer to a 3rd computer.
* Search and stream your entire music collection ridiculously fast

Like this we can integrate lots of things utilizing AJAX.
The next big thing is such developments in intranet application which will boost all the performance issues and fast communication due to its light weight nature.

Definately AJAX/Web2.0 is emerging one.
