Just in for Summer: Institute for Young Engineers:

Southern University and A&M College offers opportunities for students entering grades nine through 12 to participate in its Engineering Summer Institute. ESI is an intensive, four-week program annually held on the Southern University Baton Rouge campus from the second week of June through the first week of July. On Mondays through Thursdays, classes offer enrichment in STEM applications. And Friday field trips include visits to companies such as Exxon Chemical, General Motors Corporation, Dow Chemical USA, Delphi Packard Electric, the Tabasco factory, Entergy IMAX Theatre, and the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.
