Claudio Cicali thinks benchmarks are boring and useless, so he decided to conduct a series of micro-benchmarks of CSS selector tests with both Prototype and jQuery. He decided to do this after he saw others observe:
See the image. It show out of 10 tests, jQuery failed in 4 whil Prototype failed in 6, still jQuery is slow.

I think he is forgeting that Prototype is way much older than jQuery. jQuery is not even claiming the greatness right now. The best part in jQuery community is that your tools may be fine but we love jQuery.
