Latest marketing Techniques

Once upon a time when i did my post graduation in managemnet, Philip Kotler was the Guru for Marketing...the methodologies exhibited by the 'Principles and Practices of Marketing ' written by him was the bible...Havent had chance to read the latest edited versions of his book....but am sure of one thing....the Principles and Practices of Marketing have been rewritten by the interenet!!!!

The newage marketing tools today, as we all know involve internet marketing, Business Networking ,Corporate blogging and RSS feeds...

The reach is huge...All the above tools have a strategic importance in the entire marketing mix and at times can be specifically focussed to target niche audiences...

The most beautiful part of the above techniques is the simplicity and ease of access involved....huge numbers of people can be involved and an exchange of ideas can transpire...leading to promotion of the product/concept , value addition and maybe even business........

Effective methodologies bring huge amounts of information, right at the doorstep...all one needs to know is to leverage them for personal benefit and growth!!!!

Thanx for your interest. You are right...your website could do with some updation, which i understand is already in the pipeline....Maybe you could use some Search Engine Optimisation Techniques to increase your website hits...In my experience, networking is the answer to most marketing requirements nowadays...you may like to take a look at www.ryze.com...you could get into some 'International Business' and ' Outsourcing' networks.Am sure it will work....Blogging, as i wrote above..is the key to drawing an opinion on your products and services...but rather than using a Corporate Blog for your company, i suggest you use similar platforms like itvidya...primarily because they have more traffic than an individual corporate blog would generate.........wish you all the best...
