I reached Bangalore today in the afternoon, and am glad to be witnessing this large gathering of IT Professionals.

It is a very very large ground here with several exhibition pavilisions like e-nations, IT Parks, e-states, e-infocom, e-software etc..I will be visiting each of those over the course of few days.

Right now I am at the e-infocm pavilion, where several telecom companies are exhibiting like BSNL, Tata-Indicom, Reliance etc.

The one which caught my attention ofcourse is Aircel, who are the first company in India to provide Wimax services. They have already installed a few fixed wimax installations ( 802.16d), and are providing the same within the Palace ground venue here.

Met the Aircel team and they were quick to help in setting up my wifi/wimax connection on my tablet pc, the speed is commendable..am glad i don't have to rely on my super slow hutch gprs to update on ITVidya.com
