Dear ITVidya Members and Guests,

Introducing India's first fully professional and branded tiffin service by the name of Mom's Kitchen which started its services in Pune 4 months back and has been creating ripples since then.

Started by IT professionals, we aim to organize this highly fragmented food industry and focus primarily on our CUSTOMER,in short we want to bring the software industry professionalism in this sector and our mantra is CUSTOMER DELIGHT.

Some bytes about Mom's Kitchen are as follows:

1. Our food is homely,hygienic and healthy (PURE VEG).
2. Our food is packed in aluminum foils to retain the aroma and warmth for a longer period of time.
3. Mom's Kitchen believes in variety and hence we have the concept of '30 days,30 varieties of food.
4. Our Premium tiffin costs Rs 30 and it consists of 4 rotis,Daal,Sabzi,rice,salad,raita,pickle and sauf, our economic tiffin costs Rs 25 and is without packaging and raita and our mini tiffin costs Rs 20 and the quantity is halved that of the premium tiffin and is without packaging.
5. Currently,we serve in the areas of sus road,pashan,bavdhan,chandni chowk,kothrud,paud road,karve nagar and lunch services in Baner and hinjewadi campus.
6. We would be shortly launching our services in Aundh(in Jan).

Why not Non-Veg ?

The service seems good and since I live in the same area and have to depend on Mess and Dining Halls to survive , I'll gibe it a try.
But what I don't understand is why no Non-Veg food ?
When these guys are specifically advertising that they are going to provide home-made "North Indian" food, why is there no Non-Veg. Isn't Chicken a part of the staple North-Indian diet ?

And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a Technology sharing portal...
Are "Mom's Kitchen"-like articles apt on THIS website ?

Don't get me wrong, I HAVE benefited from this Blog-post, but not in terms of IT.

Dear Raseel,

First we want to build a mass brand by providing simple home made veg food,non veg is on our scheme of things but we will do once we have a sizeable customer base and we are strong enough to expand and increase our scale.

My purpose for this post is just to let all the IT junta in pune know about momskitchen.Period.
