How to setup One Linux Box and allow upto 6 users
Hello friends,
I found a good article on Linux with Multi-user System. By using this we can use on single computer with some additional hardware for six users.
So due to this a single computer used by the more than one & upto six persons maximum
This should be a big hit in India, specially in cybercafes and schools and colleges, as it will majorly benefit by savings in cost, space and power consumption.
Average cost per pc can thus be brought down to a affordable Rs. 10,000/- per system with this kind of installation.
I think it is also a good opportunity for hardware vendors to offer this service and charge consulting and instalment fees.
Other ITVidya members can share their tips and if they would like to experiment with such a idea.

This is a very good concept. I had read about something similar many years back, but did not get a chance to get into it.
This will be very useful for schools with a low IT budget, company training rooms, and even homes where multiple people can browse the net or do their word processing using just one machine.
