Corporation Bank, India’s premier public sector bank, has launched mSME Connect - an interactive session with entrepreneurs of mSMEs. A unique initiative by a public sector bank, the session will also include a brief on CorpEXCEL 2008 – National mSME Excellence Awards.

Liberalization of the Indian economy has seen many successful first generation entrepreneurs emerging to compete and make their mark in the manufacturing and services industries. The micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (mSME) have also been playing a pivotal role in India’s high growth trajectory.

Recognizing this, the Government has committed to extend its full support for the accelerated growth of the mSME sector, and public sector banks have a considerable role in this development.mSMEs have been contributing significantly to India’s economic development, industrial production, and employment creation. In view of this, and in its endeavor to promote entrepreneurship in the country, Corporation Bank, India’s premier public sector bank, has launched mSME Connect - an interactive session with entrepreneurs of mSMEs.
