We have seen several desktop applications now available through the browser such as documents and spreadsheets, where those requiring only basic functionalities no longer need to have a full fledged licensed software for Word or Excel.
Now, we even have an equivalent to Photoshop available from the browser. Ofcourse it only has limited functionalities, I just had a test run and it does some basic jobs well of resizing image, cropping, rotating, enhancing image etc.
I quite like the feature of saving the image in different formats of jpg, gif, pdf, tif etc. , which means it can also act as a good converter of images from one file format to other.
Am sure more functionalities will follow suit, right now it is all free.
Check out snipshot.com, will be useful to a lot of people sooner or later in the increasingly digital world.
