What is Organization Project Management (OPM)?
OPM is the systematic management of projects, programs, and portfolios in alignment with the achievement of strategic goals. The concept of OPM is based on the idea that there is a co-relation between an organization’s capabilities in project management. Program management and portfolio management, and it effectiveness in implementing strategy. The degree to which an organization practice this type of project management is referred to as it OPM maturity.

What is OPM3?
OPM3 is an acronym for the organizational project management maturity model – a standard developed under the stewardship of Project Management Institute. The purpose of this standard is to provide a way for organizations to understand Organizational Project Management and to measure their maturity against a comprehensive and broad-based set of Organizational Project Management Best Practices. OPM3 also helps organization whishing to increase there Organizational Project Management Maturity to plan improvement.
