An online community launched in January 2004 designed to make your social life more active, friendly and stimulating. By ORKUT, you can find your old friends, stay in touch with your exisiting friends and can also make new friends. For all that, you just need to create your profile on ORKUT. However, one notable controversy surrounding Orkut is that it requests users enter their race, religion and sexual orientation, which has been source of great concern among users.

Now ORKUT is celebrating its 4th birthday by placing a birthday celebration images on the login page.

good i am also using orkut. I like it.Initially it is very good to find fiends etc. Sorry for say But after sometimes i think it is time waisting machine.It is my thinking so plzzz dont mind.

It feels good to know this. Yup orkut has defined the way we will look in future at social / business networking.
