PanIIT Mentoring Program for Entrepreneurs

IT and Non IT Entrepreneurs are invited to a mentoring session that is being organized by the Pan IIT alumni group addressed by Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Mentoring 1,000 Entrepreneurs, across 16 Cities, all in 1 day:
January 26, 2008

National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) invites you to participate in the nationwide mentoring program brought together by PanIIT formed as a federal body to evolve a brand that would provide strong fraternity among IIT alumni.

PanIIT Mentoring Program on January 26 is aimed at encouraging
young people to become entrepreneurs and job creators, knowing that a vision coupled with the right support can certainly ignite the torch of entrepreneurship.

New and existing entrepreneurs who have launched on their entrepreneurship journey can get mentoring support in 16 cities on
January 26.

Agenda across all cities

Kick-starting with an address by Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, the program will be conducted across 16 cities in India on January 26.

Talk on Entrepreneurial Eco System by a prominent IITian.

Mentoring sessions - five sessions of 45 minutes each.

Registration

Entrepreneurs can apply for city-based mentoring sessions online. Mentors and mentees will be matched based on the need, expertise and availability. Each session will be for 45 minutes, each focusing on strategy, starting-up, scaling-up, marketing, HR, sales, legal and funding issues.

Thanks for the post.

One thing I did not understand, is how does this work. Are the sessions online, or do the mentees have to go to a predetermined place in the city for mentoring sessions?

I checked the registration website as well, but could not get this information.
