Nokia Makes S60 Web Browser Code Open Source

Nokia today announced the Web Browser for S60 3rd Edition and said it will release the source code for S60 WebKit, the browser's engine, to the open source community.

The Web Browser for S60 enables full mobile browsing of complete Web pages, leveraging full compatibility with Asynchronous JavaScript™ and XML (Ajax) technologies and support for dynamic HTML and scripting languages.

Credit card cloning swipes India

The cyber crime cell of the Chennai Police recently arrested four people for withdrawing money from ATMs through forged credit cards.

Mumbai: One swipe is all it takes. When you hand over your credit card to make a payment in a shop or insert it into an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), you could run the risk of being the next victim of an international crime called "skimming".

Google Notebook is up and running.

Take a look at http://www.google.com/notebook/

It has a cool Firefox ( and IE too) extension.

Working with it is Simple - mark anything in your Firebox / Browser and click -> notebook icon -> Add Note. Thats all

When searching, it shows - "Note this" under each hit.

AJAX and SEO

AJAX ( stands for “Asyncronous Javascript And XmlHTTPRequest”) is the new buzzword in IT environment that enhances user experience and is immediately less search engine friendly

The most famous examples of AJAX, or Web2.0 is Googles Suggest feature and Googles Maps tool.

I would like to know if anybody has made site using AJAX that ranks well in search engines.
