Rich Internet Applications

No doubt that todays internet world is moving aroud AJAX(Asyncronus JavaScript and XML).
AJAX brought attention of developers towards JavaScript as true object oriented scripting language which is flexiable enough to
adopt changes as per developer requirement. That has given birth to age of Rich Internet Application with development or enhancement of existing
framworks.

I was wondering before somedays and thinking about embeding desktop application controls in to my web form or HTML pages.
I and my fellow developers were literally laughing on this concept and idea always think inside the box and made difference between desktop
and web application. Which avoided chances to think in that direction.

But in these days same thing called me once again.
First of all I checked with google that is world is thinking out of box then I wondered again :-).
There are couple of companies which are devloping framework towards this concept.Many of them already built and are in testing phases.

Main keypoints of these framworks are

1. Transfer any existing desktop application in webform without any difficulties using these framwork.
This will defintely save tremendous amount of development time and point me towards again to perfect OOPS and OOAD.
2. Any desktop thing can be accessible in any corner of web.That means loss of information will be less.
3.Will make us ready to taste real cross platform things.
4. Thin client development
