Got married in Feb 06. My wife is my business partner as well. I am a simple striaght-forward and a little reserved person. 7 years of development experience. 3 years of team leader experience. Founder and owner of export oriented software startup - Palewar Techno Solutions engaged in mobile and pda development/consultancy. I sincerely believe that although mobile penetration has improved a lot in India, people are still using them as talking gadets only. In my opinion mobiles of today have become mobile computers.

What are your most recent achievements ?

• Being ranked 250th among more than 1 lac coders registered on rent a coder. Check out http://palewar.com/rac for details.
• Bagging multiyear software development contracts which now can provide stablity and continuous cash flow to my software startup.

What are the challenges you are facing ?

• Manage projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Hire employees and keep them motivated to give their best in startup companies even when we can no way match salaries & perks offered by bigger players in the industry.
• As we don't have an established brand name in the market, we can probably never convince blue-chip companies from India to consider using our mobile business solutions to improve their supply chain, customer relations and many other field operations.
• No seed investment and hence we are fuelling our growth from our revenues and so growth is limited.

• Reading books and articles on Business Management. Just about to finish a great book - THE GOAL by Eliyahu M. Goldratt.

What kind of opportunities are you seeking right now?

More inquiries for the kind of work we love to do, which is to develop mobile solutions for business.
More employees to handle the ever increasing work.

What are your plans for the next 12 months ?

• To be registered as 100% software export oriented unit with STPI.
• To become a certified agile as well as usability professional.
• To be a consultant and mentor for other software companies and computer education institutes and colleges.

First try to find what you love and once you are sure about it then just stick with it. It's true in personal relationships as well as your job. Here I meant the job though :-)
