With the Indian economy bubbling with riches as never before, the search for quality personnel to sustain the same has become the immediate need of every corporate. But, how far the corporate can get the right-skilled personnel especially those with good soft skills is a matter of debate.
A number of firms have sprung-up in all metros of India, rather overnight claiming to be sound trainers of soft skills. Whether these highly fee'd soft skills programs for corporate employees, students and individual entrepreneurs are meeting the expectations of the target audience is again a matter of discussion.
With neither an established agency or firm, nor a tested soft skills course curriculum for soft skills, there emerged the fractured positioning of soft skills in India.
In this context, a very young but seasoned team of soft skills trainers from Hyderabad, energized by the zeal to set standards in the way soft skills are imparted, learnt and its curriculum planned, have launched a web blog - http://softskillsindia.blog.com.
Please contribute your soft skills ideas and experiences to this blog, such that the original goal of the young team is fast and adequately met.

It’s true that soft skills training in India is a long way away from
perfection. Most organizations go through a rigorous screening process before
they hire a trainer. It is often difficult and exhausting for these firms to
locate a good resource amongst the countless ones that don't really
matter. Perhaps, this is where a really good consultancy or trainer can make a difference.
Consultants and Trainers need to increase visibility i.e. be seen on the right
sites and in a light where they stand in striking contrast to the mediocre
ones. To state the obvious, once your customers experience your services they
can continue with you and reduce the time and effort they devote towards their
search for an effective trainer.
