This is real cool tip for people who use notepad to write down any info on a day to day basis...

In Notepad

* Open a notepad and type '.LOG' (Dot followed by LOG, CASE SENSITIVE) as the first line of the file.
* Save and close the file .
* Double-click the file to open it and notice that Notepad appends the current date and time to the end of the file and places the cursor on the next line.

I love gadgets, but this gadget is a gadget of gadgets, really.

- Video phone. Before making a call you can choose an operator of a mobile communication.

Computers made cheap (Rs. 7500), thanks to Indians

An affordable computer enabled with multimedia and Internet will soon be available in the Indian market for just Rs.7,500 ($168), a scientist said.

The Nova NetPC has been developed by Chennai-based Novatium Solutions, a consortium of Indian partners, Mumbai-based Netcore Solutions, the Telecom and Networks Group of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Madras and the US-based Analog Devices.

It would cost much less than the current price of Rs.10,000-Rs.12,000 for a personal computer, said Ashok Jhunjunwala, a professor at IIT-Madras.
