Text formatting - blogs OK - comments NOT OK

The text formatting of blogs is now OK, at least as far as the initial entry goes. In particular, the spacing within paragraphs is now less than the spacing BETWEEN paragraphs. However....

....within the comments, the space within and the space between are, as far as I can tell, identical. This makes the comments exactly as difficult to read as the blogs were before their spacing was changed.

It seems a little imagination and lateral thinking is required here, not to mention reusable text formatting code....
