Today in this globalized world, when every one uses search engine to find information, to buy or sell products or services,it is more difficult to get high rankings on search engines. Now it is more difficult as now the war of search engines have started.
Today there are two major search engines Google & Yahoo, both have different strategies and webmasters necessarily have to follow these strategies. Due to different strategies it is not necessary that you will be listed in both the search engines on same positions. Google covers nearly 75%-80% of search market & Yahoo Covers 15%-20% of search market. So if your website is listed in Google & not in Yahoo then you will be listed on 15%-20% of search market.
But you can't sit & think like this that " my website is getting high ranking in google and i cover nearly 80% of market",this is not a good business thought, you will always try to make it 100% and then only you will get 50%-60% of market. Always try to make your website visible in all search engines so that if any body goes at any searh engine & search for something then you will be listed.
