Overall IT experience/expertise and your achivements so far

Close to 14 years of strong IT techie experience after grilling years in IIT. Have done most technical and non-technical roles in this time frame, with leading companies like Deloitte, Mastek, Ditools etc. I now lead Acism Software Private Limited, which is a house of web applications, software solutions and consulting. In the last year, we built a great team and a good infrastructure which should serve as the backbone of our expansion this year. The applications we build are rock solid and require zero maintenance.

We compete on the basis of quality and long term maintainability... never on pricing. We have been getting work largely by referrals of our clients. This year we want to do a better job at marketing.

I have developed a software development framework and am looking for the right kind of management team to take it to the next level.

Personal Profile

Shifted from Mumbai to Pune in the early days of entrepreneurship. I have a perfect square family with a lovely wife and a son and a daughter.

Outside software, I am an artist. I have taken formal training in classical music and have given a few performances. I enjoy other arts too, and have been doing a bit of those too, for pleasure.

Business/Career Opportunities you want

Lots of projects/ lots of clients: Based on the solid foundation we built last year, we are ready to expand and churn out more and more projects with the same great quality.

We are also looking for marketing personnel, tieups with companies which will help the former.

Lastly, we are in the process of building the advisory board for the product business that we are entering, and senior techno-marketing professionals who have the zing for startups.

I have always offered a helping hand to others who are stumbling across something that I already know. In particular, I can help in:

My Dream Project

... is that in the end, the client comes back, thanks us for his tremendous success, and offers us a nice bonus outside the contract as a token of appreciation!
