Mr. Balasaheb Darade is Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecomm engg, and is currently working with Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. He has previous experience of working with NASA , Rexcorp nanotech and Semiconductor Complex Ltd. India.

He has published papers in IEEE/ International conferences. He has been honored with Outstanding Engineering Student Award by IEEE, USA for 2004, Outstanding Student by Dr. BAM University for 2003, LONARRATNA by Lonar Mahotsava, Distinguished Alumni by Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College and nominated for Larry K. Wilson IEEE RAB10 Award 2004-5. He was awarded certificate of participation by NASA for Mars Rover and Deep Impact Mission.

He is actively associated with technical bodies like IEEE (Founder Chair, JNEC IEEE Students Association), VSI (VLSI Society of India), ISTE (Indian Society of Technical Education), IAENG (International Association of Engineers) , IEI(Institution of Engineers, India), CSI, IMS (Indian Microelectronics Society), IEEE Nanotechnology Council.

His Current research areas include Nanoelectronics, VLSI, Analog Mixed Signal Design, RF MEMS and Artificial Intelligence.

He has passion for contributing to benefit society through technical innovations and research. He is actively associated with Lonar Crater Development, Faith India, AID India.
He will be going for further Research studies in USA for fall 2007.
