Folding@Home Project

I had written a blog about Google's "gene-catalogue" project some time ago.
In the blog I had mentioned about the Google Compute Project with its defunct website (as of the time of writing).
I found today that the Google Compute Project has taken inspiration from the Folding@Home project undertaken at Stanford University.

He is a fellow of all the major Science Academies in India and a founding member of Karnataka State Academy for Science and Technology. He is the founder and coordinator of the national postdoctoral program in biotechnology funded by the DBT. He serves on a number of government and university committees and as Editorial board member or referee of many international journals. He has published widely in some of the prestigious international journals in the area of chromosome pairing and genetic recombination, DNA enzymes and telomere biology.
