Miscreants have again adapted the Warezov Trojan horse to target Skype users, Websense Security Labs warned on Thursday.
The attack is similar to threats that target instant-messaging applications. A targeted Skype user will receive a chat message with the text "Check up this" and a link to a malicious executable called file_01.exe on a website, Websense said in an alert. If the user runs the file, several other files are downloaded and run, it said.

Its a malware spread through IM.Though distribution and risk is low, it kills several applications by using takskill command by itsels.

Select My Computer,right click, click system restore and check the box "turn off system restore on all drives", and say Ok/Apply to disable system restore under Windows Xp to stop this malware.

On the Computer viruses front,Its Worm@W32.Denat is the latest most damaging Virus. Denat worm spreads through network

shares. It searches for shared drives and folders on an affected system and then infects all executable (.EXE) files residing

on found shares, it will set virus file's attributes to Hidden, let users not be easy to perceive.
