Building on the success of the last year, we have set a date for our 2007 Mumbai Conference and Expo. As a focal point for datacenter, mission critical facility, IT infrastructure and network management end-users, consultants and solution providers, the Datacenter Dynamics Conference & Expo has quickly established itself as Mumbai's largest gathering of professionals involved in the design, build and operational management of 24/7 mission critical IT infrastructure. In 2006 over 450 senior datacenter professionals attended, this year we expect more than 600.
The systems, applications, operational requirements and infrastructure technologies coming online today and tomorrow are transforming the facility and information technology infrastructure: from soaring energy costs and demands to reduce carbon emissions, the power of bladeservers, vitualization, grids and utility computing, inherent rising thermal management problems, requests for more power per rack; and the need for intelligent racks and automation tools requiring new sensors and tools has transformed our industry and daily lives.
For 2007 we have expanded the focus and content of our Mumbai Conference in addition to the Facility to include the IT Infrastructure and the impact that IT has on the mission critical datacenter and infrastructure. Many IT specialists have learned that they must attend and their participation has improved their understanding of the interrelationships between the two departments and in fact led to speedier problem solving in live situations. This year again we aim to highlight the commonalities, and help build a common language.
VIEW ALL THE NEW INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGIES FOR 2007
The different technologies areas that will be represented will include:
- HVAC and cooling solutions – the latest in Open and Closed Architectures
- IT and FM integration technologies including Operational Support Systems (OSS)
- Network, Cabling and cable management systems
- Communication and Security systems
- Rack and enclosure systems: from the LAN Closet to the Datacenter
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
- Application and Data Resource Service Management Systems and Tools
- Energy Efficiency, Power Management and Distribution Systems
- Datacenter and IT Infrastructure Planning, Designing and Building, including modelling techniques and technologies
- Environmental monitoring, measuring and management systems
- Building automation and management systems
- Physical and Logical Security Systems and Solutions
The programme includes presentations from a selection of acclaimed guest speakers.
Delegates have a choice to move between multiple content streams throughout the day. Each stream offers various perspectives on a topic area. We end the day with our Industry Panel and forward looking Datacenter Transformation sessions; with perspectives and insights from your own colleagues into the strategies and lessons learned that can help you cut costs, deliver unparalleled business services, and solve tomorrow's problems.
Datacenter Dynamics was Spot-On in 2006 with its focus on the key Hotspots and Issues of our industry. This year our main focus areas develop again as we demystify the challenges, present solutions and alternatives, while asking our experts and partners to present and exhibit the technologies and products shaping our industry. In 2007 we will be looking at:
- Engineering Energy Efficiency – Understanding the challenges and delivering real cost savings by taking control of ‘The Power Gap' through solutions, technologies and design alternatives. Going ‘Green' and build for LEED Certification.
- Open and Closed Cooling Architectures: Cool the load and not the room as we plan and implement thermal management solutions from the cabinet to the closet through adaptive air and liquid cooling in supporting higher-density power and cooling loads.
- High Performance Networks and Cabling: Capitalise on intelligent fiber and cable management standards and best practices while improving cost performance, speed, reliability and bandwidth/reach at the physical layer.
- The Solution Oriented Network Architecture: Optimize your IT infrastructure and data center facilities for the application aware enterprise while increasing availability, reliability and service assurance from the DC server to the desktop.
- Consolidation, Virtualistion and Server Resource Maximisation: Learn the value from the Chip to the BladeServer in making Grid and Utility Computing, Virtualisation and Consolidation turn your DC from a custom-built infrastructure to a plug-and-play environment designed to bring flexibility to IT and agility to the business units.
- Modular Value Engineering and Capacity Planning: Manage the demand design modelling paradox of space, capacity and time of your facility with new concepts and best practices in design, modular build and deployments and CFD to a new level.
- DC Automation: Mastering the 4M's - Monitoring, Measuring, Modelling and Managing the Mission Critical IT Infrastructure. ‘You can't manage what you can't measure.'
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: From the processes and best practices required to working with facility, IT and business managers to determine which parts of a facility, systems, and applications should be restored first after a disaster.
- End-to-End Mission Critical Application and IT Resource Service Management: The need for system and application management software in today's complex mission critical environment from Service Provisioning Systems to bringing application awareness to the datacenter.
Directly before and after the buffet lunch (which is served in the main expo salon), there are Solution seminars running concurrently. These sessions are run by leading industry solution product and service providers, and have been devised in order to give delegates an opportunity to gain valuable insight into new technologies and services that will be available in 2007. Delegates can move freely between these informative sessions.
The Datacenter Dynamics Conference and Expo is designed for the following attendees:
- Chief Information and Technology Officers
- Datacenter facilities managers and engineers
- Information Technology and Infrastructure Managers
- Network, Cabling and Communication Engineers and Integrators
- Architects, Design Build Consultants, and MEP Professionals
