WooMe Received $12.5 Million for Online Speed Dating

WooMe received $12.5 million in Series B funding from Index Ventures, Atomico and Mangrove Capital Partners.

What does WooMe do?

WooMe provides online speed dating with audio and video.

WooMe has created an online speed dating service. Users are able to
meet live in timed sessions via webcam. There is no software to
download or any of the typical dating site questionnaires.

A user can quickly and simply find a speed session that interests
them, join and meet five people in five minutes. When it comes to the
online dating world WooMe will give the static picture dating sites a
run for their money.
